Information You Choose to Send
A name or location entered into a search tool is transmitted to the independent provider operating that tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
If you send an email or contact message, we retain it as needed to answer. We do not share the message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Technical Data and Cookies
Routine logs and analytics may collect:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages visited and time spent;
- the referring website, when available; and
- request timestamps.
Cookies help measure site use. You can block them through browser settings, although some functions may then behave differently.

Links may lead to the Kent County Web Jail Viewer, Sheriff Records, Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS, courts, government portals, or independent search services. Once you leave, that operator’s privacy terms apply. Advertising providers may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites for interest-based advertising.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may go to search partners processing a query, analytics vendors, advertising networks, or law-enforcement and government authorities responding to a valid legal order.
Security Is Best Effort
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used, but no internet-connected service can promise perfect security or guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Adults Only
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may use the Contacts page to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing. Michigan public records held by agencies may instead be governed by the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq.; requests concerning agency records must go to the agency.
Changes to This Notice
This notice may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. A revised version takes effect when posted here with its new effective date.
